Looking for inspiration for a girls big kid room? Check out Harper’s room upgrade. I also share ways to I kept certain items from her “baby” room because she’s still only three- even if her room is a little more sophisticated now. Her precious pink painted walls and her basket of stuffed animals remind me that she’s still my baby.
The Bed
For her big kid room, we got a Storkcraft bunkbed. It was fun to set up and Harper loves having an extra bed for friends and family to sleepover.
Over 75 years of bringing dream nurseries and kids rooms to life. There is nothing is more important to a parent than their child, and Storkcraft is so very passionate about helping families bring their dream nurseries and kids rooms to life. It’s been that way since 1945, when the Storkcraft dream was born.
The Mattress
For Harper’s big kid room, we wanted to get a high quality mattress that would last her a long time so we went with a Lull mattress. Lull Mattresses are made with 3 layer memory foam technology to guarantee the ultimate comfort and support. The set up was easy & convenient, free shipping & returns with 100-night trial. The mattress is a perfect mix of comfort & support, cooling gel infused layer. Don’t just take my word. There are over 3,6000 raving reviews so I knew I was choosing a mattress that other people are obsessed with. You can see my Instagram links here and here.

The Rug
We went with Loloi Rugs. I got the WV-04 MIDNIGHT / PLUM WILD BLOOM 7′-9″ X 9′-9″. You can see my Instagram link here. Loloi is proud to partner with GoodWeave, a non-profit company that audits our factories in India. This ensures no child, forced, or bonded labor is used to make our rugs.
Loloi’s products are designed for particular people, by particular people. It’s why they obsess over colors. Create new, intricate textures that are made to last. And even often illustrate their own patterns. The result? Beautifully-designed rugs that will look great now—and decades from now.
