Save Money With These Tips

Who doesn’t want to save a few bucks? Here’s a rundown on my favorite websites to help you get the best of the best.

Save Money #1. Hip2Save.com

When I discovered Hip2Save, it changed the spending game for me. It was created by Collin Morgan, mom of 3 and wife of a Marine back in 2008. She started the site as a personal blog and today it is a nationally-recognized coupon and savings blog that I use regularly.

She runs her site with a small team of passionate money-saving experts. They give you insider savings to major brands such as Amazon, Target, Costco, Macy’s and Kohls. I get emails on the BEST deals on my favorite websites. I have saved so much on diapers, wipes, and things I buy regularly. This is probably one of my favorite websites ever.

Save Money #2. DEAL OF THE DAY

Check out Amazon’s DEAL OF THE DAY. If you’re receiving emails from Hip2Save, they will usually include Amazon’s deals. A single item or small set of closely related items is discounted for one day only.

If you have Amazon Prime, even better. You will receive free two-day shipping and free returns. If you haven’t purchased Amazon prime yet, you still have time before the Holidays.

Save Money #3. IBOTTA

I love Ibotta. I’ve earned well over $200 just from shopping for baby diapers and supplies on Amazon or Target ONLINE. If you shop in-store, you upload your receipt after purchase. Publix will actually link it for you now by simply entering your phone number at checkout.

Saving online is the easiest. There are over 140 retailers such as 7% cashback at Thred Up, 5% cashback Nike, 2% cashback from Amazon, 2.5% cashback Sephora, 5% cashback Expedia, and SO MUCH MORE. This is the perfect app to install before your holiday shopping.

You can earn $5 per friend you refer to or $100 for referring 10 friends. My referral code is faqwsbj. You go to https://ibotta.com/r/faqwsbj

Save Money #4. ThredUp

I LOVE thredUp for baby and toddler clothing. They have everything from designer, maternity, handbags, women and children’s clothing. ThredUP is on a resale revolution. It is the world’s largest fashion resale marketplace with over 35 thousand brands at up to 90% off retail prices. They even incentivize you with coupons and offers to provide even more savings. They offer everything from Gap to Gucci. If you need maternity clothes, check them out.

I’ve always loved shopping second hand. ThredUP takes my love for second hand and makes it even better by offering these items online while making a small impact on the planet. The company wants our new generation of shoppers to think secondhand first.

My mom and I love secondhand not only for the great prices but because we are wearing something one of a kind. At any given time, there are over 2 million one-of-a-kind women’s and children’s items with thousands added daily.

There’s no company out there that makes cleaning out your closet quite as easy as they do. No one hour wait like Plato’s closet. You just order a “Clean Out Kit” and they send you a huge polka-dot bag that fits all the clothes you no longer wear. Boom. More credit or cash to shop.

Buying secondhand means less waste. There are enough clothes on the planet, lets wear them rather than buying everything new.

If everyone bought just one used item instead of new this year, we would save almost 6 billion pounds of carbon emissions. That’s the equivalent of taking half a million cars off the road for a year.

Save Money #5. Groupon

You probably know about Groupon. They have over 200 million subscribers. And Groupon has been around for a while. After your free registration, you’ll receive a daily e-mail highlighting a new deal available in your city. One day you might find half-price massage, while the next day could bring free appetizers or discounts at popular restaurants. You pay upfront and use a voucher to redeem your deal. It’s a great site to explore if you’re traveling as well. Read reviews on the actual companies website before purchasing a Groupon, always.

Save Money #6. GILT

Gilt provides insider-level access to big-time designer names at a pretty remarkable value every day. They offer options for women, men, kids, and home, as well as luxury travel and one-of-a-kind experiences. If you buy something on GILT, let me know in the comment section. Gilt is a great place to start holiday shopping.

Each day, they curate boutiques filled with the best of the best in women’s, men’s, and kids’ fashion; home decor; travel experiences, and more. Very easy to explore and the perfect place for holiday shopping. You’re welcome!

Save Money #8 Zulily

Zulily is similar to Rue La La and Gilt as it has a new storefront daily. Zulily’s the place for fashion, home décor, kids’ stuff, etc., all at prices that’ll rock your socks. Some of the treasures here are so unique they’re not sold anywhere else. They also offer sites with monogramming. They make you a promise when you shop; if you find the same item at Amazon.com or Walmart.com, they will match or even beat their price. Start shopping today.
